When keeping sensors for an extended period, place them in clean water or distilled water, and the soaking caps supplied with the original storage solution. When not in use, take precautions to avoid freezing temperatures. A pH or ORP sensor should never be allowed to dry fully. Drying ruins the reference connection, nullifying the sensor's warranty.
